Paint it Black - Monochromatic Keef is Complete

I'm about ready to start adding color. Obviously there are more details to add, finishing the guitar, shoes, hair, jewelry, etc. . .  But I have the basic values down. I will throw in more details as I add color. Most of this layer will be covered up by the time it's complete.

Once again I'm pointing out that this is a personal project that I'm making up as I go along. So, after I've gone way too far on the face, I've finally decided what I want to do with the rest of it. I've started to block in the rest of it. Then after I've finished the under-painting, I'll start adding color. Wow, his right hand is bigger than his head!

Keef Continued

I've finally had a chance to work on my Keith Richards again. This is a personal project I work on whenever I get a chance. I'll just noodle it here and thereBut with everything else I'm working on, I usually don't get the chance. Someday I'll actually finish it.

Oi! It's Keef Richards!

Sorry it's been so long since my lady post. I was moving last week. Here's another progress pic of the Keith Richards painting I'm working on. Well, I better get back to unpacking so I can get back to painting after a long, long absence.

In honor of Keith Richards birthday I started a painting. The hair is very sketchy because I'm not exactly sure how I want it to be. I'm basically making this up as I go along.
